One of the key speakers at the Scientific Day of the MoStart 2025 conference will be Viktorio Mališa, a renowned expert in Industry 4.0, digitalization, and security standards in modern industrial systems.

His talk, “Industry 4.0 – Security and Research Projects,” will explore the key EU regulations related to Industry 4.0, security-driven research projects, and the role of artificial intelligence in managing modern production systems. Special focus will be given to new security models, predictive analytics, and process automation aimed at creating safer work environments.
Prof. Dr. Viktorio Mališa is the founder and president of the Association for the Promotion of Automation and Robotics (F-AR), the CEO of Centauro GmbH, and a member of the Industry 4.0 advisory board at AUVA, Austria’s largest institution for compulsory accident insurance.
With extensive experience in both industry and academia, he was the initiator and head of the Mechatronics/Robotics program at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, where he also led the Institute for Mechatronics and conducted groundbreaking projects in industrial robotics and automation. Additionally, he is an active contributor to the development of mechatronics in Austria as a co-founder of the Mechatronics Platform Austria and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of VFAALE e.V., an association dedicated to applied automation technology in education and development.
The MoStart International Conference will take place from April 23 to 25, 2025, in Mostar. The event is organized by the University of Mostar and the Center for Information Technologies (SUMIT).
