This summer, Mostar will host a top-tier goalkeeper camp that offers young goalkeepers a unique opportunity to train using the methods of one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time – Gianluigi Buffon.

Organized by HŠK Zrinjski Mostar, the Buffon Goalkeeper Camp will take place from July 3 to 6, 2025, marking its debut in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The camp is open to all goalkeepers aged 8 to 17 who wish to improve their skills through a professional and modern training approach.

The Buffon Goalkeeper Camp is more than just an opportunity to refine goalkeeping techniques – it’s an experience designed to help young athletes build confidence, mental strength, and a professional mindset.

“The Buffon Football Academy was created to help kids who dream of a future in football improve their skills. I like the idea of making my experience accessible to every child who, starting with a pair of gloves and a goal to guard, wants to try and live out my dream,” explained Buffon, sharing the motivation behind launching his academy.

Buffon’s incredible professional career spanned nearly three decades, during which he played 975 official matches and won 26 trophies with clubs such as Parma, Juventus, and PSG.

He earned a record 176 caps for the Italian national team, with the pinnacle of his international career being the 2006 FIFA World Cup victory.

He has won countless individual awards and has often been voted the greatest goalkeeper of all time in various polls.
