Mostar will once again host a major humanitarian concert titled 'Vjerujem 2024' ('I Believe 2024'). Following last year's inaugural stadium concert of spiritual music in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which raised funds for the establishment of a Rehabilitation Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities at Caritas in Mostar and provided funds for the purchase of a car for the home care service of the 'Marija-Naša Nada' Center in Široki Brijeg, this year the association 'Father' is embarking on a new major project.
"The concert is scheduled for June 8, 2024, at the HŠK Zrinjski stadium, the only venue capable of accommodating such a large number of visitors. Last year surpassed all our expectations, and we still feel immense gratitude to all those who supported the idea of us three godparents who initiated this project and the 'Father' association. Even then, we knew we had to continue with this project, the fruits of which are clearly visible, and we are committed to ensuring that through this initiative, our little ones receive the best care possible," said Marko Karačić, president of the association 'Father.'
This year's concert will feature performances by Alan Hržica, Father Marin Karačić, Vanessa Mioč, Stijepo Gleđ, and the Diocesan Youth Choir, "ViDeMus."
"Father Marin said last year that the Diocesan Youth Choir, 'ViDeMus,' would perform more than half of the concert, and he was right. It won't be exactly half, but honestly, they deserve the entire show. The incredible energy radiating from these young people will once again fill our stadium, and they have already begun preparing for this event. In fact, none of the performers need much introduction; I believe the audience already knows everything about them and that they are reason enough for all of us to experience some special moments together at this concert again this year," said Denis Delić, vice president of the association 'Father.'
One of the most prominent performers of the new wave of spiritual music is Alan Hržica, who will once again be the lead star of spiritual music at the Mostar concert this year.
"I am still impressed by last year's celebration concert at the stadium in Mostar, and I can't wait to relive that wonderful atmosphere in Mostar. Moments of unity in God like those are never forgotten," Hržica said.
The entire event is named after Vanessa Mioč's song 'Vjerujem' ('I Believe'), making her contribution indispensable.
"I am very proud of the 'Father' association, which is once again organizing the 'Vjerujem' concert this year. I was deeply moved by this wonderful project and even more wonderful people whose hearts burn for the Lord. I can't wait for this year's concert and I wholeheartedly invite everyone, especially those for whom this will be their first such concert," Vanessa stated in the concert announcement.
This story would be nearly unthinkable without Antonijo Krtalić. The association's secretary and one of its founders are the driving force behind the organization of everything the broader public sees at the stadium.
"I said last year that it would be a special night, and I have nothing better to say about 'Vjerujem 2024.' We're talking about an event that evokes a special emotion in all of us, one that literally forces us to be better people in our daily lives, and there's no reason why this event shouldn't be organized at a high level again this time. If we had some minor flaws last year, this year we will correct them so that everyone can enjoy what happens on the big stage and feel the messages we are sending once again this year," Krtalić concluded.
Tickets for this concert will soon be released for sale, and the public will be informed of all the details shortly.
