Aluminij Industrija has recently taken significant strides in enhancing its manufacturing capabilities through the acquisition of modern equipment.

Some of the recent acquisitions include the GLAMA Machinenbau charging and holding furnace vehicle, designed according to the requirements of the Mostar foundry. All casting pits are currently being upgraded to the Wagstaff AutoCast™ 2020 automated casting control system and the new Wagstaff metal level control system, as stated by Aluminij Industrija.

Furthermore, a significant increase in natural gas capacity has been achieved by investing in a completely new natural gas station and substation.

Further improvements to the production process have begun with the modernization of equipment in the foundry, which now includes facilities for continuous billet homogenization and billet sawing, block cutting plant, compressed air stations, slag cooling press, and other equipment.
